Commits with mutual offers (A&M and LSU)

A&M:

Matt Davis (TX)
Trey Williams (TX)
Trevor Knight (TX)
Davante Bourque (LA)
Mike Matthews (TX)

LSU:

Toshiro Davis (LA)
Lamar Louis (LA)
Ronnie Feist (LA)

Additionally Denzel Devall (LA) is a silent commit to A&M.

As normal a lot of false imformation out there, it is still very early into this years recuriting class.

A&M offered over 120 players so far and LSU is still well under 40 and has not offered a number on the A&M list yet.

A&M may have a hard time holding on to Davis, as many teams are looking at him, but have not offered yet.

Devall is not a silent commit. (Although likely to commit)

I have a hard time believing Davis is going anywhere especially if Addison commits soon.

I think Matt Davis may de-commit later on once teams start to see him play. I do think though he will re-commit to A&M, but would do the right thing and not stay committed throughout it.

A number of teams are waiting to see how he responds to his knee injury (while it was just an ACL, I think it was a more serious injury than normal tears).

I am concerned about A&M gaining exposure in Louisiana but I am not terribly concerned with losing Borque. He has well documented academic and character issues. For his sake, I hope he fixes it.

Regarding Monroe, If Lsu offers after the Summer camp workout, that could get interesting. Although lsu has a verbal from Dwayne Thomas at cb already. Unlike the Ags, Lsu can't sign 50 players. Numbers are tight and from reading Les and staff like some OOS CBs better at this point.

I would love to have Devall. The issue becomes can you get both Devall and Lo Phillips with tight numbers. If not then who do you target?

The tear was no more sever than common ACL tears. The surgeon was actually very surprised at the strenght of his knee and was able to "anchor" his knee much more than usual because of the knee strength.

I would be EXTREMELY surprised if MD were to de-commit. For the last year, it has been his full intention to commit before football season began so he could focus on finishing out his senior season without distraction... not to mention he will be enrolling in college (A&M) this coming January. As I'm sure you know, teams (over 20) have offered him a scholarship already. There's not a "dark horse" school that he's hoping will offer him. A&M has been one of his limited top schools from the beginning.

Really??? Oversign.com.
Elliot Porter disagrees.

And SEC, you obviously aren’t dialed in to the harboring of talent like the coaches of the SEC Conference Conference.

All that aside, anyone that gets carelessly hung up on any recruit in April/May is a careless person. It’s fun to banter about when nothing else is going on, but let’s be honest 17 year olds are like Vegas BJ dealers, they will tell you what you want to heat all night.

Haha you do know he is at LSU right? You do know he came out and said that interview was frm rt after it happened and taken out of context. He made the mistake, not LSU.

It's only fun to banter with people that actually know what they are talking about and do a lil research before they just start talking out their arse.
