Jumping into a foul

I hate this shite. Esp when the defender I goin across your face and in no way trying to foul. Or just has his arm away from his body and the shooter comes under it and just flails. Or pulling up from frickin 3/4 court. I wish they could do away with this shite

i wish the NBA adopted a rule
if you jump to cause a foul, barring contact to the head, it cannot be a flagrant foul

I'll never forget watching some NBA show just after Reggie Miller retired and he showed the "art" of drawing the foul as a shooter. Dude would literally grab a guy's jersey and pull him into him....and get the foul call just about every damn time.

If the guy jumps towards the shooter that is the defender's fault IMO.

The defensive player should stay on their feet. That's defense 101. I always teach my guys to stand straight up. After the guys jumps goes up with him still straight up. Your're not trying to block the shot you're trying to alter the shot.

Paul pierce is the worst in the NBA at this shite. he pump fakes, and if the defender even gets his balance off, not even moving forward at all, Paul will jump forward as hard as he can and then just flail in the air like a retarded 1 wing duck with a stick up his arse. And he gets the call 100% of the time.
If the shooter initiates contact by going out of his way to jump into a defender that is off balance or in the air, it should be an offensive foul. Plain and simple. I'm tired of these lazy arse shooters getting free points and putting players in foul trouble with a gimmick move that has nothing to do with the true art of basketball.
