read up on some of the members of the family.

Shirley Phelps-Roper harps on sins of the flesh but also apparently had a child out of wedlock. way to practice what you preach.

There's another doc called Small Town Gay Bar that features interviews with Fred Phelps. I've never seen it but I hear that it's quite chilling stuff. These are the people that wanted to erect a monument after the death of Matthew Shepard that wouldve said something about "on this date Matthew Shepard entered hell". I don't care what your beliefs are that's pretty sick.

Just like with the lunatics that come to LSU every Tuesday, I really feel sorry for the children. They have no chance in life. You can tell in the documentary that the older kids want to have normal lives with friends, at least a little bit. The scene where Louis asked the young boy about why he was holding the gay signs and he had no idea showed how sick these adults are.
