"ADMIN: Your image is too large"

When I was editing my profile I saw the following message in the Signature Image box:
"ADMIN: Your image is too large (max width is 400 pixels, max height is 150 pixels, and should be under 30,000 bytes..."
The offending picture was this:
41x24 pixels, 8,000 bytes.
What's up with that? Will it get whacked again now that I've put it back up?
