When teams play Alabama in football they usually like to take an extra week to prepare and bring their best game, their "A-game" against the Tide.

When teams play the Kentucky Wildcats in basketball, they usually play their best - win or lose - and usually lose.

When teams travel to Tiger Stadium or the Box, they usually bring their "A-game." The atmosphere is second to none. The LSU teams are usually contenders. So they play the Tigers with intense focus.

My point: LSU usually gets their opponents "A-game" week after week after week. Even the schools that should have no chance against LSU play beyond their normal talents trying to take down the Tigers.

When I watched Auburn this weekend I thought to myself - hmmm Auburn is playing their best baseball of the season.

Meh. LSU sucks this year. I would agree with you in seasons past, but not necessarily this year.

I agree people bring their A game and that has resulted in some of our loses, but some of these have to be blamed on us just playing bad baseball.

It is crazy how people play their best ball against us though.(for the most part)
