I bet the Hornets wish they had him around right about now. I guess it's a moot point since the team will likely not be sticking around.

Had 6 steals tonight, I thought this guy couldn't play defense. 4 assists and 9 rebounds. 21 pts

The Hornets and the fans are missing this guy... This team would have been a lot better if Thornton was given a chance.

lol. I loved marcus on the hornets but he wasn't sticking around anyway. He was a RFA. No one seems to understand that.

btw before anyone goes on about how amazing he's been since the trade should look at his last few games. Unfortunately that is the tradeoff you get with MT. He can light it up one night with efficient scoring and lead you to a win. On the other hand he also seems equally as likely to put up good point totals while shooting his team out of a game.

You say the hornets would want him right about now, but the players that have filled his role on the hornets are dominating him statistically in almost every category lately. Through his last 5 games MT is 39% from the field and 14% from 3PT range.

21 points isn't doing your team many favors when it takes 23 shots to get there.

All and all the deal really worked out amazingly for all 3 parties involved. I'm sure marcus is thrilled to be getting tons of PT while the Hornets got a solid (and absolutely needed, given the Dwest situation) PF. Kings got a young, exciting scorer. Everyone wins.

I bet the Hornets would rather have Carl Landry right now. You ladies need to get over it. The trade was good for BOTH parties, including Thornton. You can be happy for him and still like the Hornets. Or you could be a typical rantard and apply no logic to the situation.
