We need a hard hitting white boy in our secondary in order to win the Championship.

J/K Fellows. I was watching the spring game and I love the secondary we have in place.

might be hard hitting... but that kid got a penalty on just about every hit. maybe his coach forgot to tell him that he can't lay out a receiver before the ball gets there.

this. I don't remember what he brought to the team, besides his biochemistry degree.

nice hit, but give steltz a defenseless receiver to hit like this guy had. If it was hard enough the receiver should not be able to get up that quickly. I think the receiver wins here and would not want to get him by him.

Hunt was Saban's man on the field. You could see him directing the Defense on the field

You're in idiot. The only game LSU lost in '03 was the game Jack Hunt didn't play in. That isn't a coincidence. No he wasn't hard hitting, but he had to put the secondary in position every play. Ronnie Prude, Randall Gay, and Jonathan Zenon were lost without him.

he was a helluva center fielder-type safety. played the ball in the air as well as anyone we've had since.

so Jack Hunt was the reason we didn't score an offensive touchdown and only crossed the 50 once (and fumbled it)

luckily we had Corey Webster and Travis Daniels starting out there

i remember at first...Jack Hunt was getting run over or dragged for 5 yards after contact but Saban obviously saw something in him cause his Senior year, he was the man...made plays all over the field.
