The Cotton Bowls' deal with Fox

Naturally since the speculation began that the Fiesta Bowl could lose its BCS status, it's been a popular thought that the Cotton Bowl would take its place (some say rightfully so) as the 5th BCS game.
A couple of people I've talked to have expressed their concern that the cotton bowl wouldn't be able to get out of their TV deal with fox. Since ESPN has exclusive rights to the BCS games, if the cotton bowl became a BCS game, would the cotton bowls' deal with Fox become null? or would fox still have the rights to the cotton bowl?

I doubt anything will happen with the BCS games until the current deals are up

this is from a article I posted last week, nothing will happen until the contracts expire
quote:
For now, the bowl's status as one of the four BCS events is secure because three years remain on its contract. After that, the Fiesta could face a challenge from the Cotton Bowl, which has long sought a return to major bowl status and has a new stadium -- Cowboys Stadium, in Arlington -- to support its cause.

I am sure there is something in the Fiesta Bowl's contract that states that the BCS can revoke their status in certain events. At least, I would think there would be.
