Anyone ever had this problem with a PS3? It shows this as soon as it loads and I've searched everywhere on the internet and some say get a new hard disk, easily works by resetting or unplugging (which I tried and didn't work). Anyone have any experience with this and/or know any solutions as to how to fix this problem? Thanks.

Definetly a hard drive problem, best bet is to buy a new one. You will have to format all info.

If you are not under warranty, you should at least open it up and make sure the hard drive hasn't come loose. Just don't do it on the carpet. You don't want to fry it.

Well, I got this PS3 around Thanksgiving so it's fairly new.

do you have your receipt or original packaging? If so call sony, they should fix it for free.

I have the original packaging right here. I'm looking for the receipt right now.

I wish.
