Two Texas HS Coaches Defend Lyles (Link)

Nice to see another side to the story presented. After Trevon Randle's high school coach made factual innacuracies about when Randle got interested in LSU that are easily disproven (by Shea's article from 12/3), and the writer and his editors made no effort to do any fact checking, I was wondering if anyone at all would at least investigate and present any information that doesn't sensationalize the story.

What would you expect two coaches with players on the Oregon roster to say when called by an Oregon paper? Does it behoove them to toe the line or bang pots? Just curious why you think it's odd for them to not fan the flame.

Maybe he thought it was nice to hear another side that is not quoting the crying UTw coaches or their minions (selected Texas HC).
just because one side claims third party help is bad does not make it true. I suspect any "news" reporter that only reports one side might have an agenda. I suspect that is why you made your comment but failed to point out this article was in response to the one sided reporting. You should question the first rather than the later. Just some advice for a aTm fan because Will had the run of aTm from what I remember and posted years ago on this site.

just to play devils advocate, not like the HS coaches have a lot at stake that would really egg them on to lie about what happened. If they were involved I would expect them to "no comment" rather than fabricate a story
