Were we racist for disliking Doug Sisk, Kevin McReynolds and Jeff Kent? How about for when we soured on Tom Glavine for giving up 7 runs in the first inning to the Marlins on Sept 30th 2007 after winning his 300th in Chicago and mailing it in the rest of the season

If we're racist, then why do we love Jose Reyes so much and chant his name every time he steps up to the plate?

Were the same Mets fans racist when they liked him (Castillo) so much when he was first acquired in 2007 and he played great defense and got on base all the time? or did they just become racist over time? Maybe, just maybe, Mets fans don't like him because he's 35 years old, completely over paid, and a remnant of one of the 'fix quick' terrible Omar Minaya contract schemes, (and made an iconic in one particular Yankees game).
