I question his choice of words concerning signing players with criminal records. His use of the word "many", is misleading, and would have been more accurate to use the word "some" or a "few". He is so used to writing about UT, I'll cut him some slack.

That's a good read. I'm happy to see Chris Lowe writing more informed articles then what he use to. He did his homework for a nice write up.

Mark Richt kicked Mettenberger off the team in April not long after he outplayed eventual starting quarterback Aaron Murray



Anybody have a link to the actual stats from that spring game? LSU fans and GA fans seem to have different views about Mett amd Murray's respective performances.

Coudlnt find the stats for the spring game but I have seen it...

You may also look up the elite 8 camp....mett was the top performer over murray and barkley

Murray was ahead of Mettenberger going into the season, this according to everyone who isnt an LSU fan.

It was close, but not THAT close.
