I did a breakdown today on the effect that each deadline trade will have on the Hornets, highlighted by the Nuggets/Knicks trade and why CP3 won't go to New York. Feel free to take a look, and I'd also like to hear opinions from fellow Hornets die-hards such as yourselves. If you think I'm wrong, tell me, and tell me why!

I think the Clips are the only realistic landing spot for Paul if he leaves.

I also think Denver might be better without Melo.

That wouldve been a horrible deal for the Hornets.

It was just an example, but it really all depends on how highly you view Q-Pon. I personally just don't think he's ever going to become that much of a threat in the NBA (especially not before CP3's contract is up), and I think having the depth down low would have been more important for winning in the short-term than waiting for Q-Pon to develop into an asset (maybe). Like I said though, just my personal opinion!

I was thinking about teams he could possibly sign with if he leaves here, and after eliminating Knicks and Nets (if Deron re-signs), the Clips were one that jumped out to me too. Big market, some young talent, and off the top of my head it seems like they probably don't have too huge of a payroll right now. The biggest question with them is, is Sperling going to spend the money it takes to sign CP?

Didn't he spend on Davis and Brand?

I think the Clips could be really good if healthy. They have a superstar, an athletic center, a former all star center, and a SG that can straight up score.

The bigger question is, will any true superstar actually WANT to play for Sterling? It's no secret he's the most despised owner in sports by his own players; would you want to play for an owner who heckles your own team?

So replacing Carmelo with Gallinari and Chandler makes Denver a better team? Give me a break. I don't think Melo is a top-10 NBA player right now, but he's definitely top 20. Where does Gallo and Chandler rank? You can't honestly believe that this trade makes Denver a better team in the short-term.

Like? I'll take all the criticism in the world, as long as it's backed up by evidence.

On second thought, I'm going to get defensive here. I did my research, there is no "misinformation" in this article, so I'd love to see exactly where you think that I am "misinformed."

How do you like your "new look" (garbage) Thunder team?

You laugh like the Thunder aren't one of the favorites to win the West now.

A lot of teams are "favorites" I laugh because they aren't as good as they were, maybe playoffs but who knows what'll happen

How? I, along with most, would argue that they got a lot better. If I were a betting man, I would put my money on OKC coming out of the West.

Well, that's you, I say short-term they aren't as good. esp. with no real big man, and long term, we'll see.

Perkins is day-to-day. They just got a big man.

lolwut

They upgraded big time at center. Perkins is playoff tested and gritty and will be a huge asset down the stretch.

Jeff Green isn't a big loss at the 3. The Thunder didn't need him to score, they needed him to do the small things. He was a waste for that team.

Sefolosha will step in; e does all the little things without needing to even take a shot. He can defend, rebound, block shots, all the things they need.

Harden is going to pick up the scoring load with the departure of Green. He's been playing very well.

The Thunder are going to give a lot of teams fits. They are a top 4 team in the West.

You regurgitated information from other sites and added in shitty opinions and stated the obvious. Not really misinformation, just one kid's opinion.

Do you crunch the numbers in your NBA Live trade simulator?
