Understandable, it's just quite an experience to realize how big this sport is. And the fan devotion is crazy. I'm not knocking ya brah, was just saying.

If you ever get invited...and go...unless you try not to have a good time...it's almost impossible not to. I'm nowhere near a big fan...but a weekend of tailgating on the infeild and feeling the horsepower blow by you and watching them bump in middle of the turns going that fast...it's a blast. Until I went I never understood how much fun it really could be even if no fav.

Don't get me wrong, I would never pass up an invite, just to see first hand what it is like. I'm just speaking as an 'ignorant' spectator since I don't know what it is like.

i prefer the july race so i can spend all day getting wined and dined at my uncles coporate tailgate but the 500 is good too.

It is amazing how fun a race can be. I try to go to the Talladega race every April (can't this year because of A-Day) and I am surprised at how much fun it is. And I am not Nascar's biggest fan.
