New Orleans Saints 2011 Non-Divisional Opponents

Home: Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, Houston, NYG
Road: GB, Minnesota, Jacksonville, Tennessee, St. Louis
What does everyone think, especially when comparing it to the rest of the division? I think we lucked out immensely except for the Green Bay road trip (which may end up being NFL opening night 2011). Getting Indy and Houston at home while Atlanta has to play both on the road may turn out to be a HUGE advantage. Thoughts?

i LOVE that road schedule
minnesota and st. louis = dome
jacksonville = deep south
we'll see about tennessee and green bay, but this is a welcome change from cincinnatti and baltimore in december. i also dont think any of those road teams will be especially good, aside from green bay or course

About fricking time. Hopefully they are treated with the same amount of respect they've shown Saints fans over the years.

Anyone planning to make a trip?
A few friends and I are trying to make one road game a year. We are thinking Tennessee so far. Anyone been there?

If I can find the time/afford it, I'm planning on making the Green Bay trip.
I've never been to another NFL venue besides the Dome, and Lambeau and maybe Arrowhead are the only places I really have any desire to see firsthand. Couldn't pick a better year to go, with Green Bay defending a title.

Every one of those road games is winnable. Green Bay is the one I would say would be the biggest challenge. However, I think we match up well with them.

Would be an impressive road win..

I don't know. The Colts aren't unbeatable at home, not even close. And Houston will be nothing great again. I don't think it'll turn out to be that big of an advantage overall.

That doesn't mean you know anything about the Saints or football in general. Your opinion still sucks. Your posts will only have relevance when someone asks what EverBank Field is like.

The only other playoff team that Green Bay plays at home is Chicago, which would likely be a compelling game (another replay of the NFC championship game). But does the NFL want to open the season with a Division game? I hope not. It would be epic to hang a loss on the Champs in the first week.

100% of your posts on Saints Talk today have been to criticize me.
Well done.

I've been waiting on the Bears to come to the dome. I hope we stomp that arse.
I want to go back to Jacksonville, even though the last time I was there, Carney missed that extra point. I have a score to settle
