Do you think all back up quarterbacks in Super Bowls have college message boards that contain threads like this? Or is this truly unique only to TD.com?

He has been to the big dance before and has proven to perform under pressure when the game is on the line.

Its a homecoming for Flynn going back to Texas.

Rogers has had concussion issues and there is always a possibility that he can get knocked out of the game.

Definetly a possiblity that he gets some playing time.

I'm a big Flynn fan, but did you see the N.E game? Flynn isn't in Rodgers' league at this point of his career.

He has been one of the unheralded team MVPs all season. There's a nice vid of him on YT that I'm too lazy to link.

That's already on my wish list...Then he gets traded to the Raiders and takes them to the SB in 2012.

I wouldn't go that far - but it WOULD be cool for them to call his # in that "Elephant" package and see him get his 1st NFL TD.

See sig pic for visual aid. -------\/

No backup played better in a game this year than Flynn, the QB I lobbied for hard when he was here at LSU, and against many here who of course knew better that JR was the greatest thing since toast.

Matt Flynn is 0-2 (against BAD defenses) in games where he played a large roll in. Both losses he threw key interceptions deciding the game...but somehow he's going to win the Super Bowl MVP?
