Top ranked St Aug almost upset by Archbishop Shaw

Shaw came very close to beating the might purple knights tonight. Pulled within a single point with 3minutes to go in the game after leading for much of the first half.
Shaws gym was PACKED with many students being forced to stand in front of the bleachers very near the court. St Aug was very much affected by one of the craziest high school basketball atmospheres I've ever witnessed. Cops actually forced Refs to stop the game after derrick Ellis scored 5 points to pull the eagles within 1. Fans were basically spilling onto the court in hysteria because a timeout was thought to have been called.
Shaw might have not gotten much hype before the season but this team is DANGEROUS and could have very easily been undefeated in district so far.
Best student section in Louisiana, fwiw.

It's 10-5A, what you expect...Being a top ranked team, everyone is gunning for you... Salmen gave us issues as well in that lost... We have to tighten up with the shooting... Been struggling on the road lately... My lil cuz play for Shaw(Lawrence Breaud) and would prefer a scholly in Bball...

Nah I quit over the summer, but I still go nuts at the games for all the basketball guys. Intramural league legend now Lmfao
