No surprise. Ott and Nola are projected to go in early rounds as well.

Mahtook is a beast. I'm not sure he would go. Lots of talk about him finishing college...

If Ott's fastball was 92-94mph consistently with that NASTY slider he'd be going top 2 rounds in my book.

Jake Cave (OF) from Virginia is the only one I'm really worried about "at the moment".

Same here. A lot could change come June. I don't see Mikie slipping but some of the others could really improve their stock if they perform up to their capabilities. Let's hope.

Ott

No way he goes in the Top 20 rounds with a fastball under 90 mph.

Anyone got a list of commitments for the next class? I know Nola's littler brother is committed and they have him projected in the 9th.

Ott is not an early rounder, and as much as I'd like to see it, I don't think MM goes in the first round.

Is little nola an lsu lock? It will be hard decision if he goes that high.

No one is...

Von Rosenberg was a lock for LSU...
Gausman was a lock for the MLB...

big Ott fan here, but im just not sure he has it in him to throw that hard every pitch.

his summer brought him back in the picture. He needs to pitch like that this season to sniff the 7th round

Greg Maddox says hello. Ott has hit 91 on the gun and that's plenty for a breaking pitch-control pitcher. Besides, the draft sites all think he does(go in the top 10 rounds) and I'll defer to their take on it.
