Never posted on this board before and admittedly am not a big gamer anymore. I just got a PS3 a few months ago and have no idea what games to get. I really don't want to deal with online play yet and a few buddies have suggested diving into this uncharted series.
From the reviews I've read online it seems to be a great game. I guess my question is...is it worth the investment? and what am I getting myself into?

If you have a PS3 this is a must have. Also you must play God of War

It's worth it. I picked it up at Gamestop for $10. Once I started, I couldn't put it down until I finished. Just a heads-up though - download the updates before you begin a game. If you manage to start one before getting the updates, you won't get any of the trophies.

It is a really great game and for what you can get it for now, it is really inexcusable to not have this game.

Great series, along with the God of War series. Both are PS3 exclusives. Also check out Assassin's Creed if you're into that kind of thing.
If you're a baseball fan, MLB The Show is, in my opinion, the best sports game franchise out there. Also a PS3 exclusive.

Assassin's Creed is awesome a must-have for anyone.
I'm not much of a COD player, I enjoy Halo much more so PS3 kinda screws me there.
My top 3 PS3 games are

NCAA 11
Madden 11

Nah I'm not much of a gamer other than the football titles. Assassin's creed is about the only other game I touch.
The only exclusive I like is for the XBOX and that's the Halo series.

to each his own... I would recommend trying a game like Uncharted though...maybe throw in a little Read Dead Redemption. I think you would be surprised at how much you like them.

I am not much of a gamer at all, I really enjoyed this game until close to the end... The story line goes off the deepend, and it just pissed me off, but I guess that just my opinion

its still one of the best looking games on the system so don't think that just cuz its older the graphics wont be good.
