Man I like Davis, but he's making me wonder with some off the wall shite like that. Has to be a mistake.

I like davis as a commentator but that is plain moronic of him if true. the only damn offensive players we MIGHT draft if a pick falls to us would be RB and/or OT imo. and that is a big IF. we can probably address the RB situation through FA. We already have Charles Brown. We have now gotten johnson...will he be a bonafide producer or just a band aid? we now need OLB's and a DE and maybe a safety. hell, right now i would take TWO DE's. we do not know if smith will get back to old form. maybe with a better DE on the other side with TWo dominant DT's he will. we'll see.

Davis is among my favorite commentators too. I've said many times though, even the best of these guys are spread pretty thin keeping up with 32 teams. I've found some much more insightful commentary concerning the Saints here and at SR than from the national press. There's tards and ranters to cope with but at the same time there are some that follow every pulse and every blip of news and info about the Saints that occurs. The national guys just cannot do that X 32. He made a gaffe there but he prolly can tell ya a lot more on LB situation with the Jags or if the Bills are interested in drafting a guard or center than anyone around here.

We aren't to the conference championship games yet. The football press world is only just beginning to turn thoughts towards the draft. They unveiled Davis' top ten picks yesterday on NFL network with chuckles. Like, here we go... Jay Glazer scoffed "and that's the way the draft is gonna end up for sure..."

My name is blueslover and I'm a draftaholic. I watch tv and read every day about practices at the East-West Shrine game to see how the stock of prospective draftees might change. I spend time trying to figure out what players might be a good fit for my team at pick #88 in the draft. I study the needs of teams that pick 1-23 and scribble out dozens of mocks. I look up reams of useless information**. Charles Davis may know a lot more about which WRs grade out as a 2nd or 3rd Rd pick but he ain't got shite on me as a Saints draftaholic.

**I actually looked this up last night- We traded this year's 4th Rd pick to get Tennant in the 5th Rd last year. THAT 5th Rd pick had been traded 4 times prior to that. Kinda ironic that it originally was a Cowboys 5th Rder that they traded to Denver to get former Saints G Montrae Holland in 2008.
