I like the way he looked in the Under Armour (or Army) game. He was fast for a tight end and got open on the crossing routes. Personally, I'd love to have him.

Just doing what all the others on this board does: Guess! My point is that no one on this boards knows what recruits are going to do. Most of these folks here have never even played the game but they think they are a ESPN analysts.

We rarely use receiving tight ends in GC's offense. He's a good pass-catcher, but not an incredible blocker. Good player, just not a superb fit for our system, which values blocking TE's. Dickson is the only TE who has more than a handful of receptions in a season for us since GC got here.

One of the more overrated recruits. He'll be a fullback everyone forgets about 2 years down the road.

So you didn't watch any games this year where Deangelo Peterson started at TE for us and that he has caught 21 balls with two TDs over the last two years while being injured for the first two or three games this year and playing in mop up duty last year. Out entire passing game sucked this year, but we targeted Peterson quite often.

I respectfully disagree. I’ve seen him play twice in person, once on TV this year and once in person last year. He is very athletic for a person his size. Example, one handed catch of an “uncatchable” pass. Another example, he was penalized as a runner for leaping over a tackler who was in a crouched tackling position which is a foul in high school. He has played tight end, fullback, wide receiver, linebacker, punter and punt returner for one of the best high school teams in the country. He also has a bit of a mean streak which could be bad if not under control. Example, on a short yardage running play for a touchdown by a running mate he blew up the linebacker he was blocking and continued to push him back from the goal line to the end line after the play was over and the touchdown was scored. He was flagged for that.

I’d love to have him at LSU but at the same time I don’t see a big need by us.

Lets be honest, I would love to have him because it means that Jack Nicklaus would be attending games at TS, but we don't have enough scholarships at this point.

I've watched enough on him to know there's really nothing special about him. He's not nearly as tall as he's billed as (really 6'1-6'2) and not nearly as talented as he's hyped to be. He'll be a FB/H-Back and never catch many passes on the college leve.
