Following the 1979 season, Rein was hired away from NC State by Louisiana State University. In January 1980, Rein took a recruiting trip to Shreveport, Louisiana. On his January 10 return trip back to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, his private aircraft crashed leaving no survivors.[1]

not trying to be cute knew coach rein and he died on 1/10 ,most so called tiger fans forget he even exisited but i met him as he signed a friend of mine billie hendrix ,a couple of days prior to his accident, coach reine may have changed for course of lsu history had he lived, have not felt good karma on any 1/10 since

There have been 31 January 10ths since the Rein incident. It's time to let it go. You sound either ridiculously superstitious, or dumb. Neither one is very flattering.

how do you know i changed anything fig may have added something, guess this stroke a nerve with me as most have forgotten about coach rein and the tragedy that befell him,his family and LSU. he was out here doing the bidding of recruits on the behalf of LSU on 1/10/80 was tragically killed, i bring it up and you attack me way to go nature boy
