he played O Line for Michigan. How big is that mofo? And how big is that hat? He never struck me as a big dude.

Offensive linemen weren't ~300 pounds in the 1970s.

Um, he played in the mid 70's - not exactly in the age of 300 pounders like today.

That said, I've met him a couple of times and he's definitely bigger than he looks on TV.

Then again, when you're surrounded by todays athlete's - it doesn't take much to look small.

Nick Saban played football too. Just saying. And even though he was a cornerback, he could have had a role in the Wizard of Oz.

True but that's Kent State, not exactly big boy football. This begs the question: Who else would complete the Lollipop Guild of Head Coaches?

Holtz played LB at Kent St. also but that was back before the great depression.
