Halfback option TD pass - anyone see what happened?

Anyone see what happened to the defender on the ground near the goal line on this play? Looked like Loston was dropping back to cover but never saw how he ended up on the ground? Slipped? or was he knocked down by the receiver? someone else?

bit on the run and tripped trying to make up lost ground.

A DB fell on the play. I'm so glad the announcers showed or talked about it.
