Was Lance Guidry supposed to go to Pitt also?

May have been covered before but with the events that happened, where does this leave Guidry?

He was going to Pitt as the defensive coordinator and was given permission by Haywood to coach the bowl game. He will most likely be retained on the new staff at Miami of Ohio.

Hopefully not in Baton Rouge. Had a couple of kids from my hometown pay at McNeese when Lance was the DC so I got to see his work often. The last season he was there I watched his defense give up 50+ in like 4-5 games vs FCS opponents, one was a start up SELA team. Talk and Rah Rah is one thing, being the man who calls the shots on the defense is another. May be a descent DB coach but he has showed me nothing else.
