He went 116-55 at Oregon.
Had 10 and 11 win seasons as far back as 2000.

He is 60, but that's the same age as this Saban guy that gets mentioned for every job opening in football.

He will become the president of the AFCA next year. Has he came out and said he is finished coaching for good? He just seems like a relatively safe hire for someone. No interest in coaching again? Health issues? Rich as hell and burnt out?

And unless he has Chip Kelly or Jeff Tedford beneath him, his teams are so very average.

Successful people surround themselves with the best people available. You can't blame him for that.

I agree though. I'd rather go after a lot of other people before going after Belotti. I think part of the reason ESPN mentions for every job is because he works for ESPN now.
