Anybody happen to have a pic of the new state record whitetail killed this past week near St. Francisville???

Is it? I'd heard it was about mid 250's. Thought McMurray buck was 281, killed in 1994. Was it a technique thing?

Nice deer, but look at those Wooly Boogers on the back of that wheeler! You don't see those jewels much anymore.

Is that definitely it? I have a picture on my phone that was sent to me and I was told it would be the new state record. Its not that deer and looks like it would beat that one. If I could upload from my phone I would.

I'm with you on this. I don't see much about that pic that looks real. The head looks like it was shopped and no one has wooly boogers these days. The truck seems to be an 88 model Ford Ranger.

The buck in that pic is real but is not the new state record. The buck in that pic was killed in Avoyelles Parish (Lake Ophelia) about 10 years ago by Rudy Bonnette. He works at John Deere in Alexandria.
