Well, this year I did. 116-116 I'm the fourth seed so I lose.

That sucks. There should be a better way to split ties, or you guys should use fractional scoring

Couldn't agree more Brageous!

I haven't heard from the LM, but I'm hoping maybe just maybe I'll get a bit more than my entry fee, probably a long shot.

Do they do fractional scoring in ESPN leagues?

I tied about 3 years ago. The tie breaker was bench points, which I had no idea of. I had a bunch of injured guys on my bench, too. This was before the popularity of fractional points.

I had a game decided by 0.2 points last week. I don't have anything written in the rules for a tie, but I will incorporate something for next year. What do you guys think is the best tie breaker? Bench points? Coin Flip? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We had a tie in the playoffs this week with fractional scoring. There isn't a tiebreaker in place during the playoffs, so we'll be flipping a coin. Time to update the rules.

You can do one of two things...if it's the finals, offer them a split of the money. If it's still in the playoffs, make it where they BOTH advance. The highest score of the THREE teams wins the next round. It's not totally fair the guy that is by himself, but it's also not fair to screw the guys that tied.

Or flip a dang coin

That's a clear disadvantage to the team who's already in the finals. Now he has to beat two teams. A coin flip gives them both an equal chance to play in the finals IMO IMHO.
