Duane Akina as the new gators DC would be the most surprising move of all of these. didn't work out too well when he was the dc at texas in 2007. muschamp was brought in to fix akina's defense.

which is what my Texas friends are telling me. They are all good-riddance on this piece of the puzzle.

That's one of the things about hiring a young, inexperienced coach.

They don't always have the connections that more seasoned guys do. Muschamp has never had to put together a staff, and the pool of guys he is comfortable with is small.
