Why do so many LSU fans want Auburn to lose?

I dont understand this i get that we are rivals of some sort and recruiting but it would hurt our strenghth of schedule if they lose in the final rankings!! I get why some of you would want them to loose but im just curious! Please no smart arse answers just asking Serious question!!! I just want to keep the crystal ball in the SEC to prove we are the best conf. Because believe me they are waiting for us to fail to say we are weak now they are tired of us dominateing!

They're already in the title game. Winning it won't have that much of a bigger impact.
And their recruiting will be screwed in a couple of years win or lose after they get get hammered.

Yes it will. Its not like they are in a recruiting hot bed like Texas. They take scraps from Alabama, Louisiana, and Georgia.

I'm for Auburn because they had the best season in the conference; I think, if Cam had been originally recruited by Auburn out of H.S. and had gone there, most SEC fans would be for them.
I don't blame those who feel differently about the BCSNCG because I think the rules should have made him ineligible for play once it was known that his father marketed him; but the rules don't and they have not broken rules, so I hope they win. But it does dampen my enthusiasm, overall, for the game itself.

it doesn't matter whether auburn wins or not. and whether you want to recognize it or not.. it still helps the conference as a whole.
i want auburn to win bc i have no desire to see oregon win it.. even tho i hate auburn; excuse me for rooting for teams that are closest to me.. it just comes natural..
again, it's not so much about wanting SEC schools to win, it's more about not wanting these other teams.. especially up north.. not to win.

How? You honestly think the opinions' of ESPN will matter when conference rankings are released and the SEC is at the top of every category? the SEC's perception will not take a hit because a 1 trick pony lost in the National Championship game.

And winning the national title isn't going to sway it very much more than just them making it.
National championship caliber is all that really matters. They'll never be #1 in Alabama anyways.

it goes against every bone in my body to even pretend that I'm pulling for Auburn. I've tried, but just can't, same with Bama. The only exception I make is during the Iron Bowl, I always pull against the team that is tied or ahead of LSU.
