Cool thanks. So the the site has been moved to .com domain but the website still says LSUSPORTS.NET and there is no auto redirect. Heck even CFCU does a better job.
Incompetence must be a disease at the LSU Athletic Dept. Someone else needs to fired along with Crowton.

Didn't lose the domain at all. THis was part of a phased transition that was announced last year that the lsusports.net page was moving to lsusports.com since it was being opperated by LSU Sports Properties, Inc. - a "for profit" company which must register as a ".com" or ".biz" rather than the ".net" which is supposed to be for non-profit generating entities (don't mean a non-profit organization like a charity, but rather a web presence that is not intended to generate money)

a) it shouldn't take them this long

They did it over a 1 year period to allow other sites more than enough time to prevent....

I agree. Especially considering the LSU Sports Properties is a division of CBS and not the Athletic department. You would think that a multimedia company like CBS would have experience making a switch like that.

You are correct. I don't know why it wasn't done correctly. But I do know that the .net website was supposed to be removed in 2010. Though I thought it was at the end of the year.
