Went and watched Jabriel Washington last night in the quarterfinals of the Tennessee State High School playoffs...That freaking kid can play..It's him and 10 guys who look like they play for a junior high team...The kid does everything but sell popcorn at halftime...He played quarterback and it was Washington left, right or throw the ball..Ran back punts, kickoffs and DB is where he really shines..Has an excellent burst to the ball and isn't afraid of contact..He will "LAY THE WOOD" to you...Needs to gain some weight but Bama is getting a real player in Washington!

That pretty much describes Tennessee High School football! I lived there, so I know what I am talking about.

Either one would be hard pressed to be .500 in Louisiana! I lived in Hendersonville 2 years ago and my brother still lives there. You have no clue what real high school football is about.

Uh excuse me?..Lived in Pensacola for awhile used to watch Emmitt Smith at Escambia...I went and watched Batesville South Panola play a few times.( DON'T EVEN TELL ME THERE NOT BAD!)Just across the Shelby County line in Memphis...I was in Louisiana and watched Evangelical play..And I saw West Monroe Play. so don't give me any crap about me not knowing about "REAL HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL".. Sure Louisiana,Georgia,Florida,Those Batesville South Panola teams are on ANOTHER LEVEL..But As far as Ridgeway and Hendersonville..I was replying to LSU TIGER 205 who said he was going to watch his alma mater play Ridgeway...Ridgeway has got a great team for 5A football in Tennessee...

Drae has got the bloodlines..His uncle was Daryl Bowles who started from 1979-1982 at Fullback for Arkansas and Lou Holtz...They are all from Haywood County..Tony Delk's alma mater..

Well, if it is all about loading up on 5 star recruits, what are Texas and Florida's problems this year?

Yeah, I graduated from Hendersonville. We heard the same thing in 98 but came in and thumped G-town-Houston to get to the state championship.

Should be a good game.

The Riverdale-Oakland team from 98 or the Pearl Cohn team from 97 was retarded with talent.

Pearl-Cohn was the best team I have ever seen play and that includes Brock Berlin's 99 Evangel team.

Both Santonio Beard and John Henderson played for Pearl-Cohn that year

Talent with no coaching or strength and conditioning programs. Riverdale took all the talent in Murfreesboro! They are now nothing with new schools opening up. BTW, I saw Riverdale play as well and no way they would beat the 1998 West Monroe team.

No way...they would have been outcoached and worn out in the 2nd half. They are nothing more than a inner-city high school WITH some TALENT, but it is not a program. See inner city New Olreans school.

So? That is 2 players and 2 players do not beat a program. See 1996 Catholic vs. WM.

bullshite. We had a great S&C program at Hendersonville, a lot better than I had in LA.

Wrong again, they have both won 2 championships since 1998.

Watced them get that arse beat by White House in 1997. Melrose wore their gold cleats and all and got pounded by a bunch of country boys.
