It was a good win for the Tigers. But, just once, I would like to watch a game where LSU dominates an mid to top tier SEC opponent the entire game. This last minute game winning drive is gonna kill me.

Now on to whippin' some Arky arse!!

It'd be nice but seriously, LSU football is a absolute blast.

The frustrating thing is your up 20-10 with two chances to go up 27 or even 34 and we don't make it happen. We go 3 and two times in a row because we get simple and conservative on offense that early in the game. Twice in the redzone we have to settle for two field goals. The game could have and should have been over early. Like 2nd quarter. If we go up and convert to touchdowns instead of field goals they have to get out of their game plan. But offense really wasn't the problem tonight. Defense was not very good. Gave up too many 4th and long and 3rd and long.

I have been this way for a while but a strange calm came over me today and i just knew we would win. I love the fact we are 10-1 but (and all the positigers will hate this) if LSU had been impressive in their wins we wouldn't be getting disrespected so bad by voters. (How you win is important to the voters!) Just say may and Holtz's top 5 and LSU not in there. May had Wisc 3rd and Stanford 4th. We play in the toughest conference and lost to the # 2 team by 7 away and get disrespected for the close calls.

Are people still getting worked up because of close games? I haven't cared one way or the other in a long time, I just sit there and watch. Whatever happens....happens. Usually LSU will come out with the win.

Why do you think they play our games so often?

It's not because we're boring football.

And that translates into higher recruiting classes because guess what, everyone wants to be on TV if they plan on going to the NFL.

So be it.

Try to kill me... but just win.

As long as Les Miles is the head coach at LSU you can expect these same finishes week in & week out for many years to come. It's been this way since he got here & will remain until he is gone. LSU football has taken probably 15 years off my life in the last 6 years. I have come to expect these cardiac killer endings each week & have learned to invest in a lot of nitroglycerin pills for preparation.

Yeah, every game I am a bunch of shot nerves, lucky I don't have numerous heart attacks or go postal...I take the games very hard. But today, re-watching the game on my DVR, I am feeling pretty relaxed, very calm...Om...Om...Om...
