Taking my wife to our first LSU game and just have a couple of questions for all of you seasoned veterans. About what time should we get to "victory hill" to secure a good spot to watch the players come down? And besides seeing Mike the tiger are there any other musts for pre game activities? Thanks in advance! GEAUX TIGERS!!!

The area around the PMAC is where all the festivities go down before the game. I'd make sure to be around the hill by 10ish.

Get to campus early an just walk around and take it all in. Make sure you see the band come down the hill and dont miss pre game.

I would highly recommend walking the length of Dalrymple between Highland and Victory Hill starting several hours before the game. The tailgates are a sight to see.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. We were planning on buying some tickets outside the stadium. Any advice on when the best time to buy would be? We have some family joining us there so we were hoping to get five together, do you think that is possible?

Anytime, but i think the closer to the game starting the better the prices....but then you run the risk of not getting tickets. I had a hard time finding 4 together, not to discourage you, but finding 5 together might be difficult. Just try to get as close as you can, have meeting spots for after the game lined up, and split your group wisely. Sucks I know, but it will still be one heck of a game regardless!!!

oh, and check out lsu marketplace for tickets...you might have luck there ;)
