Anybody else think that Miles' eccentric way of doing things actually helps with recruiting. He would be interesting to play for.

Miles recruits well because he's a genuine, all-around good man. Players and their families see him for what he is. Not some smooth-talking, car-salesman like satan, Meyer, Spurrier or Richt. Dan Mullen is similar to Miles and UT's Mack Brown and Miss State's recruiting will be a lot better because of it.

I definately think so. Recruits believe in their chance to play. LSU also gets A WHOLE LOT OF ATTENTION and that helps players spring board to the NFL.

I know what you are getting at but Richt and Spurrier aren't car salesmen types. They are as genuine as Miles. Can't say that for the others.

Les' recruiting and player relation skills are top notch. I can easily believe the vast majority of guys who play for him really admire the guy.

yeah, cause Saban and Meyer have such a tough time recruiting...

There are several different styles of recruiting that work for different coaches. The biggest recruiting tool is the ability to compete for championships and the ability to make these recruits NFL players. All 3 of these coaches have proven their ability to do this. So has Mack Brown, Steve Spurrier and Mark Richt.

BTW, Mark Richt is widely known for being a genuine and great person. He might actually have won a championship if he was willing to lie, cheat, and steal recruits like a car-salesman.
