That phrase is older than dirt. But they do seem to have disappeared.

Seriously? The team played well and was very prepared. Miles also coached an excellent game.

However I can't ignore all the stupid shite that was. People had a right to doubt and be pissed, just like they have a right to be happy now.

Cut the sunshine pumper / negatiger crap. It's played out.

I couldn't even post on TD last week. Everyone had already marked Bama as a lost. It is much more refreshing around here this week.

They're secretly rooting against the team (especially the Sabanistas) so that they won't be wrong. I hated them when they did it in the 90s and I hate them for it now. This too, shall pass.

In particular, this straight up victory by Miles over Saban with no legimate outside argument (i.e., not Ref-gate, no injury bugaboo, no "Saban's player", etc.) must be particularly, spectacularly hard on the Sabanistas. You'll notice the vast majority of the Negas (and virtually all of the Sabanistas) have been conspicuously quiet, or at the very least subdued in their response over one of the great victories in the entire history of the program.

They think we don't notice this. But we do.

Part of being a negatiger is being a realist. Realistically, we kicked Bama's arse.

Our 5 biggest problems didnt really appear:

Crowton - terrible play calling
Miles - clock mismanagement
QB's sucking
Penalties
Turnovers

None of those were a negative factor in the game like they ALL had been during nearly every game in the past.

We played and coached mistake free for the first time all season. Thats all we negatigers wanted becuase we know what the results would be.

We're all pumping sunshine today. No one is in denial.

It really is a great feeling around the board not having to read that such and such is a sunshine pumper, because they feel optimistic about a season.

So, you're only in favor of namecalling if it's directed towards LSU coaches, players or supportive fans?

I agree, that we played a very well disciplined game of football from the penalties to the play-calling it was a great win.

No. That's why I asked for clarification. You've said in the past, "This is a place to vent." Why can't the "Sunshine Pumpers" (great name for an Indie Rock band) "vent" their wonderfully, pleasing satisfaction at the Negatigers/Sabanistas?

What's wrong with that? (I'm asking. Feel free to clarify your position.)

You should read more posts then. Some of the hardliners are still saying, "Let's not get excited over this win over an overrated Bama team." Unfreakinbelieveable. However, I am happy to have you back on board, BB.
