Simon told LSU coaches last year in HS he could cover Julio

Last year at my 10 year HS reunion (Eunice High, same as Tharold), a Eunice coach told me that the LSU coaches sat him down and they watched some film of Julio and afterwards he said he could cover him. Of course after hearing that I was thinking well its good the kid is cocky and has confidence in his skills, but there is no way he steps in as a freshman and stays on the field with JJ. Damn was I wrong. I had watched him since he was a freshman and knew he was SEC material, but to come in as a freshman. Many people said he was way too tall to play CB, but this kid along with Reid and Mathieu will be fun to watch the next couple of years.
