2003, 2007, 2011?

This is something that I have been considering for a long time. I am thinking harder about it now.

The Tigers won BCS Championships in 2003 and 2007 in the dome in New Orleans. The 2007 championship followed a 2006 (played Jan 2007) Sugar Bowl win, and the 2003 championship followed a 2002 (played in Jan 2003) Cotton Bowl loss to Texas.

It looks like the Tigers are headed to another, if not BCS, major bowl game this year. The 2011 BCS title game will be played in New Orleans.

I think that the Tigers might be ready to take advantage of the dome again next year. So, I am bringing it up as food for thought and comment.

I can't reasonably believe that the Tigers will find their way to the BCS championship game this year. Too many crazy things have to happen, and the Arkansas game is looking more scary all the time. But, if LSU wins out, regardless what happens, I think that they will play in the Orange or Sugar Bowls. I think they would meet Va Tech in the Orange or Boise State in the Sugar.

If the Arkansas game does not go well, it will be back to Orlando or Dallas, I think.
