I'm not sure but I was at the Central/Capital game last year and Capital got raped on some flags. It was bad. I'm a Central fan, Alum and I have two nephews that play on the Central team fwiw...

Where is lovingthecatz? I would love to hear his explanation of why Central lost.

What I find funny is how many of you run here to celebrate a Central loss.

I don't know anything about that... I'm just wondering how dangerous Capitol will be in the 2A playoffs now that those 30+ suspensions they've been staggering for the past month or so have run out.

Despite losing a bunch of games in part because of those suspensions, their power points are really high because of strength-of-schedule, as a several of the teams they've played in 7-2A, like East Feliciana, Donaldsonville, U-High, and Episcopal, have a lot of wins.

Whoa! I was reading the Advocate on line and seen the score - no way I'm celebrate Central's loss - just thought Central was chalk to win their district this year and was wondering what happened.

Personally, the more I see Central struggle, the more I grin. With the attitudes they have there, they deserve it.

If they lose next week, they don't have a shot. If they win next week, they split the district with whoever wins Zachary/Catholic

Capitol just has some scary athletes who played the best game of the season. Central came out returned the opening kickoff. Other then that Central could not move the ball except at the end. The option failed last night but they moved the ball when they got it in #25 and #32's hands at the end. They need to find a qb before the playoffs and Central will be fine.
