I think this says alot about who's offensive phlosophy we are using. I think Crowton might be call the plays most of the time but it is from Miles's playbook. These stats show that Leslie was no Offensive genuis. Someone needs to remind him of that, he is no longer play for BO 3yrds and a cloud of dust is long gone. You need to be balanced. Being balanced is not running the ball 68.9% of the time as he did at Okie State.

Did you by chance look at the style of plays he called while there? A lot of pro sets or shotguN? otherwise youre looking at offensive results and not offensive philosophies.

Ill Check, but when you only throw the ball 32% of the time. I bet you ran alot of I-Formation and 2 TE sets. But that is a fair question.

I think those teams were fairly option-oriented with Simmons son as either the QB or RB, can't remember which. when he was HC, their offense was more wide open.

It was Fields.
And Gundy was the OC when Miles was the HC.

I know Fields was his QB when Les was HC, I'm talking about when Simmons was HC. I seem to remember them being an option team back then.

Here is what i think of the offense.
Crowton wants to run a spread offense. Shotguns, options, fast athletic qbs like Dennis Dixon.
Miles wants to run the ball with our RBs (a strength) and throw the ball deep to our WRs.
Somewhere between the two we get what we see. Crowton can't do what miles wants with his style of offense, and doesn't really have the players to run his offense either.
In short we need to part ways. Crowton needs to go to a less traditional leage (Pac 10, Big 10) and we need a more pro style OC.
