Talking about the game with a coworker who believes that Roof is a better DC but lacks talent at AU. I was curious as to how popular that opinion was.

This is Chizik's defense, not Roof's.
I bet they load up the box with eight men or runs a 5-2 or run blitzes and make Newton prove he can pass consistently. Something our defense didn't even think about doing. They may not stop Newton, but he won't run for 200+ yards on them.

He won't, bc they have a great DLine who understands containment, and controls the line of scrimmage. And they run a 3-4. That'll def help.
