Seems like most people blame the players 100% or the coaches 100%. I'm hardly the expert, but it seems to me more likely the problem is a combination of the two. Neither of our QBs was destined to be a top-three SEC QB, and our coaches don't seem to have done much to maximize what abilities they do have. Put the two together, and that's where the problem lies imo. - TigerPanzer

Wouldn't it (again) lie on the coaches for LSU, a top-10 job, to fail having even a to-8 SEC qb for the third-straight season?

To an extent, yes. But not 100%.

JL was put in a really bad position 2 seasons ago because of a player's actions, not the coaches' actions.

JL checked out on his own last season, the coaches didn't do that.

JL seems to get the playbook better than JJ this season. If one player gets it and the other doesn't, it's very likely a player issue, not a coaching issue.

Our WR's are dropping passes and not blocking. Some of that has to be with their coaching but some of it also has to be with their own focus and determination.
