Im in a keeper league and was proposed a trade for him for relatively cheap value.
Does have a starting job next year even if he gets traded? Arizona seems intent on moving several of their "non so contact" hitters.

But they also set a major league record with 1,529 strikeouts, 130 more than the old mark set by the Brewers in 2001. So many hollow outs left the offense less than the sum of its parts. The Diamondbacks were eighth in runs scored. Mark Reynolds(notes) struck out 211 times, his third straight season with 200-plus, and LaRoche, Johnson and Justin Upton(notes) also had career highs. They all will not return. Towers has said that total is unacceptable, adding that he likes contact hitters. In whatever size, an offensive remake appears certain. Towers also has said he would like a more veteran bench.

Anyone who can hit 35-40 bombs a year consistently will be a starter on any team, regardless of their strickout rate. So even if he isn't with Arizona he will be fine. What's the trade?

This is a league where we actually play games on a simulator...so steals arent necessarily important.
I give: Oswalt and a 3rd round rookie draft pick.
For: Reynolds and a very early 2nd round pick (could pick up someone like Tabata, Espinosa, or Mike Minor)
It seems like a easy decision...but...its not if reynolds isnt playing playing anywhere and gives me no value
