I am just one in past years who gets a bad rap for not making fair trades so I need 2nd opinion from TD fantasy football gurus
on this scenario:

Team B (record 2-4) wants to trade for Big Ben or Brees from my squad
(since his QB E. Manning is not very reliable week to week to play at an ELIte level).

NOTE: TEAM A (record 4-2 so far)is in little week 7 predicament with two of my 4 WR's being on WEEK 7 bye + one hurt ->so trading for one of TEAM B's top WR's seems like a good piece to the puzzle.

Also would not mind making it a 2 for 2 trade and finagling a legit RB like Turner who is struggling this season so far and maybe give up mid-level RB like Tolbert who surprisingly has about the same about of fantasy points as Turner

TEAM A ROSTER (minus K + DEF)
Brees, Drew QB NO
McCoy, LeSean RB PHI
Gates, Antonio TE SD
Tomlinson, LaDainian RB NYJ
Johnson, Calvin WR DET
Tolbert, Mike RB SD
Royal, Eddie WR DEN
Harvin, Percy WR MIN
Roethlisberger, Ben QB PIT
Bush, Reggie RB NO
Holmes, Santonio WR NYJ

TEAM B ROSTER
Manning, Eli QB NYG
Mendenhall, Rashard RB PIT
Hillis, Peyton RB CLE
Boldin, Anquan WR BAL
Keller, Dustin TE NYJ
Williams, Roy E. WR DAL
Turner, Michael RB ATL
Jennings, Greg WR GB
Jones, Thomas RB KC
Knox, Johnny WR CHI
Tate, Brandon WR NE

I actually would not mind giving up Brees to get a nice two position upgrade trade like that. I would think I could count on Big Ben to put up some points for playoff push.

Team B owner has asked few times over last month asking about getting one of my two QB's (today it seemed more urgent like he needs to get his 2-4 squad on the above .500 track ) so I am kind of stumped on if I am in position of power to work a trade like that. I am giving up my nice QB situation + also sacrificing things for WK 10 if I got rid of Big Ben.

If I throw in Tolbert with Big Ben that may make it more digestable on his end to give up Turner & Jennings (or maybe I include one more of my mid-level players like Harvin/ Holmes/ Royal/ Bush)

another scenario:

Maybe Drew Brees + backup RB (either Tolbert/Bush) + backup WR (either Holmes/ Royal)

for Turner + Jennings in return my way

I am letting him keep his #1 RB Mendenhall + his #1 WR Bolden.

Big ben and either Percy or Holmes makes the earlier proposed trade considerably more fair and still bumps you up in 2 positions plus you keep breesus.

It sounds like it will be Big Ben for Turner as the main pieces to the deal

and then I am trying to get a Week 7 eligible WR out of the trade so I was saying to TEAM B as favor can I get try to get Jennings included into the trade maybe for Holmes or another player

Just as a point of comparison... I recently traded Big Ben and BJGE for Calvin Johnson and Thomas Jones.

Get whatever you can. If the rest of the league thinks it's unfair, they can veto the trade.

And trade Brees, not Ben. Ben's bye week is over so you don't have to sacrifice a later week by starting a mediocre quarterback.

Q #1->drop Holmes, Royal or Reggie Bush to pickup up a week 7 backup TE since Gates may be out?

Q #2-> Any clear choice for tight end backup on below waiver wire list?

Heap, Todd - BAL vs. BUF
Moeaki, Tony - KC vs. JAC
Miller, Heath - PIT @MIA
Hernandez, Aaron - NE @SD
Carlson, John - SEA vs. ARI
Gresham, Jermaine - CIN @ATL
Olsen, Greg - CHI vs. WAS
Shockey, Jeremy - NO vs. CLE

FYI-> Breesus is gone in the trade. Got Turner + Jennings on the squad now.

I kind of needed RB + WR depth and those two had a low value for the first 6 weeks but that is why I was able to get them both...

If Drew Brees lights it up every week and I come to point I really 2nd guess having to play Big Ben for next 8+ weeks then so be it...

trust me I will be happy for all Louisiana sports fans that things are going that well for Breesus + the Saints
