Anybody else just given up and enjoying the ride until it ends?

I've all but given up trying to critique this team, coaching staff, etc etc and make sense of anything, including clock management. There is no rhyme, there is no reason. Personally, I think Miles is an idiot, but have decided to just roll with it. We're 6-0 and going to be 7-0 going into Auburn. All of a sudden I find myself saying we can run the table instead of crashing and burning.

Some things you just can't explain. And I think this coach and this year are just going to be one of those.

I would have to agree. Miles is an enigma!

Given up being negative, huh?

Amazing what winning at the Swamp does. However, I think constructive criticism remains in order. We are not a perfect team by any stretch.

I think we should enjoy the ride and see where we end up.

I'm enjoying it. I was critical of the QB play before the Florida game and was convinced we were going to lose because of the coaching staff's insistence on playing Jefferson.

Now that we've seen what Lee is capable of, it's an exciting time to be a fan, and the sky's the limit for this team. I'm afraid Miles will continue to play Jefferson far too much, but what's the point in stressing? If it costs us a game, then I guess we can stress about it then.

We're going to be in every game with a good chance to win... if the coaching staff can figure out how to get optimal productivity out of the QB position, it's going to turn into a very fun season.

couldn't explain my feelings any better. I tried to go into the season with this attitude. Truly, I feel like this is all Lagniappe. I think we are a year early if we finish strong.

good teams will never accept being good enough.

however, you can't be an LSU fan and say you're unhappy being undefeated yanno?

no, not giving up being negative jackasses. Did I say that anywhere in the post. I said giving up trying to figure out this team, who should start at QB, why Miles can't manage a clock, how we keep winning etc etc.

I disagree. We need to do it this year... Florida behind us, and Bama is reloading, and a home game. This is about as vulnerable as we're ever going to see the SEC.

Not to say we don't have a good opportunity next year, but Bama will be past their growing pains, and will get us in Tuscaloosa.

And eventually we will. But all we can do is just go with it.

We're already one game ahead of where I thought we'd finish, so, even at 9-3, I guess it's a successful season.

Halfway through the season, it is what it is. Too late to make adjustments, but the product is better overall than I anticipated.

Now come on, I know you got one baseless complaint in there somewhere.

Trying to critique this team makes this board pretty entertaining. It is like members try to find something that no one else has seen, be it outerwear, headsets, or one obscure play in the second quarter.

I say keep up the trying to find fault, it must be a kick in the arse.

Les is kinda like the guy in your high school that never really tries to be funny, but is so unorthodox in his ways becomes absolutely hilarious. The one that never really makes sense when he speaks, but after you think about it for a while, you scratch your head, raise your brow, and ask yourself "did he just really say that, and do you think he means this?" After replaying it in your mind over and over, you just kinda chuckle and think, whatever.

Kind of a long answer, but yes. He's Les Miles, He's Our Les Miles, and when you peel off all of the monikers he's been labeled with, you just shrug your shoulders, chuckle, and think out loud, "You just gotta love him"..

I just told these assholes up here that I'm done defending him. That was after ther TN game. Then he comes out and coaches a hell of a game. Hell, the players love him and I'm willing to hang in there for the rest of the year...at least.
