Spoke to at least 5 Auburn fans since Saturday, three i know very well. They could care less about the Arky game. All the talk is Newton and how he will wear down the LSU d-line and control the game.

I am just sitting back and laughing inside because i think that the Hogs will win and AU will be looking at a losing streak.

That is sweet. Injuries always occur in SEC games. Not wishing injuries but you know it will be physical, while LSU's game shouldn't be.

I am sure the AU team is not underestimating the Hogs who took Bama to the wire. Fans often tend to project their feeling on the players and often it is very far off from reality.

I'm pretty sure we will sell out to stop the run aka newton. I trust our secondary against his passing.

This. We've already face better passing QB's than Newton, but Newton hasn't face a run D even in the same universe as LSU's.

ETA: Maybe South Carolina's D.

Spot on Tiger Phil. LSU should be well prepared for AU's offense.

As a team, Auburn doesn't scare me any more than Florida did. But the thing that does scare me about that game is the fact that we've beaten them 3 years in a row and you know they want to get that 800 lb gorilla off their back this year!

Good thing the fans are the ones who play the game.

I hear ya, it's tough to repeatedly beat a team in the SEC. The pressure is certainly on Auburn.

FANS overlooking Arky isn't the same as the team doing it.

You better believe they are trying to figure out how to defend Mallet.

I'm pretty sure Nevis is going to literally eat Cameron Newton, and if he doesn't, Tyrann Mathieu is going to rip his head off like a hyena.

Meh, they are the delusional ones then.

Most AU fans are pretty worried Mallet could have a field day on their pass D.

Mallet gets back in the Heisman talk after this game. The media is thirsty for an SEC player to be in the talk.
