Regardless of what you think about Les as a coach (and it really is meaningless, hate to burst your bubble), the delusion that Les is on the hot seat has taken on more hype and clout on here and around Baton Rouge than is healthy.

I don't even need a long drawn out argument to prove this - Miles is the coach of a 6-0 team which is perched atop the SEC West and is in the drivers seat to Atlanta. Half of his victories this season are over ranked opponents - at home, away, and at a neutral site. These are facts.

Another fact: Alleva both hired and never fired Ted Roof who has a head coaching record of 6-45 while Alleva was AD at Duke - including 3 consecutive years of losing at least 10 games and finishing dead last in the ACC.

So negatigers, positigers, Miles haters, and Saban arse-kissers alike (and everyone else) can we please cut this hotseat BS? If Alleva didn't have the Stones to fire Roof because they were golfin' buddies there's no way he can pull the trigger on LM.

Were people actually calling for Roof's head and as passionate about it as LSU fans would be? Duke's football program is nothing really. Their basketball and lacrosse program is what everyone cares about. I'm sure if Coach K was doing that bad then he would be gone instantly
