If LSU would have beaten Alabama in a similar manner?

No, because Alabama is not a vastly inferior team.

No - however, TN was a 17 point underdog.
LSU may be a 17 point underdog at AL in Tiger Stadium.

We never should have been close to losing that game.

I don't care who they were playing. The clock management would have been inexcusable. That said, everyone would feel better about having beaten Alabama, however it happened, as opposed to an inferior UT team.

No way. LSU fans would laugh at the suicidal Gumps who would have just seen Lord Saban get moLESted.

I would have danced in the streets and laughed my arse off at the gumps as they filed out of TS, yelling "Get your guys off the field next time losers!!!"

Oh wait. I did that Saturday too.

I understand the Vols being a huge underdog, but I would have loved to see the board's reaction to a similar victory over Saban. Upsets happen every weekend, but the Tigers are still 5-0.

What about this. What if it was Tenn that almost let the clock run out, and we were the ones caught with 13 men on the field. What then? Would you guys have grilled Miles? Or just say it was Tenn who confused Miles and given him a pass?

Of course not because Alabama is not a shitty 2-3 team that was a two touchdown underdog. If we beat Alabama by any means (which will never happen as long as Les Miles is coaching us), it will be better than beating Tennessee on Saturday with that bullshite.
