MNF in Tiger Stadium vs. Tennessee. LSU leads 21-0 and is driving at the end of the first half. I remember being frustrated because we should have gotten a field goal but we screwed it up. It didn't seem so terrible at the time, since we were up 21, but a missed opportunity. We know how that turned out. Anybody here remember the specific details?

that didn't cost LSU because they ended up # 3 in 2005 before the SECCG...which is what would have happened if they won that game.

Also Ole Miss last year didn't cost LSU because it was Capital One Bowl whether LSU won or lost

People tend to overlook these things when we have a good lead. I remember botching the last couple minutes of the 1st half against UNC this year. Miles didn't call a timeout that could've left us with an extra 35 seconds. He was happy to just go to halftime with the lead. And people on here called me out for saying it.

Do not think this was coaching, this was JR that failed to throw it away/get out of bounds and the clcok ran out

a field goal???? NOOOO. We should have driven down and scored a TD. we had 1:43 left on the clock and we returned the punt to our own 43...instead of going for points, Miles just sat on it. I know it was 21-0 at the time, but we still could have gone down and scored. ended up biting him in the arse. And, he has continued to do this game in and game out (just going in at halftime when we have gotten the ball back with over a minute and a half left on the clock time and time again

What about the cluster that was the last minute against Auburn in 2007. Luckily D Bryd catches it and Miles is CFB's riverboat gambler. What about the LSU/Florida game in '07 - how lucky did we get then?

wrong....... we got it down inside 20, then with no time outs Jamarcus tries to run it in, and gets tackled inside the 5, clock runs out..... prob not on miles......

Scores of times he has done the 8-10 second delay before calling time out.

1st half against Tenn, he got it done to a lean 7 seconds
