The Miles JJ/JL relationship is sorta like this...

JJ is the #1 son and can do no wrong. JL is the red-headed stepchilded and can do nothing right.

Miles holds everyone accountable except JJ (and Blue too it seems after 2 fumbles and early play the next game).

This is absolutely correct.

We've heard that Lee has performed better throughout practice from the spring game through fall camp, yet JJ is constantly handed the ball regardless of his poor play.

If JL had managed to win the starting job over the offseason, and stunk it up through 4 games as bad as JJ so far, he would have already been benched.

The double standard with Miles is mindboggling with these two players.

Maybe Lee had a want to mess with someone in Miles family.

I submit:

Miles and Jefferson = Haslett and Brooks

So Payton and Brees should be here soon then!?

We all know that Miles and Crowton both realize that continued play from the offense like the past few games could result in a loss of their jobs.

With that said, I have to assume our team looks HORRIFIC in practice on the offensive side of the ball. Otherwise, I have to believe they would make mass changes.

Maybe we should sit our entire offensive team and put in the 2nd or 3rd string offense.

all kinds of mean-spirited assertions would be flying round, too.

Nonsense...2 years ago the exact same thing was being said about JL. Miles likes to pick a QB and stick with him until the situation is not tenable. That's the way he was brought up as a coach and that's what he is. He stuck with Lee too long and he's sticking with JJ too long - it is what it is.

sadly enough, i have real doubt that they realize this. And even sadder, they are probably correct. The LSU political machine will not fire Miles for 8 or more wins, and we are halfway there, and will win 8 or more, just like we did after great starts in 2008 and 2009.
